Latest results, league table, fixtures etc:

Do It United were formed in May 1993 by Tony Winyard from regulars of the "JJ Do It!" bar. They compete in the Jakarta International Football League. The league consists of players and teams from Germany, Holland, Italy, Korea, Japan, France, UK and many others. In August 2002 the team name was changed to Do It Satu Lagi FC, seeing as how the bar 'Satu Lagi' have sponsored us for the past 6 years!

They are the 'sister' team of the Real Loafers in London.

Check out some of the links to see horrendous photo's of players past and present plus some of the trophies won, also many photo's from the tours to Bali in 1998 and 2000. photo's from the dressing rooms 2002!!!
On both tours many of the ex-Do It players returned, also on both tours the Wanderers bought along a team.

The next tour is planned for June 2003, once again in Bali. All are welcome, the more the merrier. Though it's worth noting that in the past 3 tours more effort was put into trying to sort out some sort of costume for the themes on the Saturday night party then was put into the actual games!

Take a peek at the vintage editions of the 'Jakarta Sun', for the real low-down on what was happening in Jakarta!

Do It ended (2001/2002) by becoming league champions after a 7 year gap in which they never finished outside of the top 3, and indeed 3rd is the lowest they have finished in their 10 seasons in the league.

Additional history:

When the team was first formed, every Friday night the majority of the team would drink in the JJ Do It bar, which didn't close until 5am, consequently many of the players would be in a pretty bad state for the game on the Saturday afternoon. Yet we won every single game we played upon entering the league in September 1992 up until mid-February 1994, when there was a religious holiday and so the bars were not allowed to open, meaning all the players were fit and healthy the next afternoon for the game... and we lost!!!

The first ever Do It United game was in the Highland gathering 5-a-side tournament in May 1993. The team consisted of:
Tony Winyard, Steve Brady, Stuart Westley, Max Belli, Simon Wood, Dave & Rudi

First ever full game was against JIS on 15/9/93 DIU won 6-1 with 10 men after going 0-1 down in the first two minutes. The team was:
Lucas Sheard, Karl Wilcox, Tony Cottan, Stefano Pontesilli, Mike Cottan, Mark "Moose" Andrews, Max Belli, Tony Winyard, Andy Morton & Pierre.
Scorers: Moose (2), Tony Winyard (2), Mike Cottan, Pierre.
